No.60-136 <br />Accept deeds <br />Honer Develop- <br />ment Co., et al <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Gould and carried, action was postponed? <br />to the next regular meeting on Preliminary Record of Survey No. 173, filed by <br /> <br />Garden Grove Hospital, creating two parcels located 660 feet north of l?th Street on <br />the east side of Berrydale Street, subject to conditions. <br /> <br />Communication was again presented from the Planning Department recommending approval <br />of Revised Tentative Tract Map No. 3652, filed by A. Adams Morris, creating 52 <br />single family lots located at the southeast corner of Sugar Avenue and Verano Street, <br />subject to conditions. Attorney Willard R. Pool, 12866 Euclid Avenue, Garden Grove~ <br />Stated his client objected to the condition requiring drainageto be taken care of <br />as an area, as he does not own the property to the west. The existing trailer court <br />drains into Eugar Avenue~ and the proposed plan of the developer is to drain his <br />area northerly through an underground drainage structure which will come into the <br /> <br />C'5 Channel. The Director of Public Works recommended that drainage be provided for <br />the entire area of 28 acres, at one time, in accordande with original Map filed <br />with the Planning Department° On motion of CounciLman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard <br />and carried, Revised Tentative Tract Map No. 3652 was approved, subject to all condi- <br />tions with exception of Condition C~ with respect to all property insofar as drain- <br />age is concerned, and that the subdivider provides adequate drainage for the subject <br />property. <br /> <br />Ccemamication was presented fr~n Rex L. Perkins~ Vice-President, Metropolitan Savings <br />and Loan Association, Los Angeles~ requesting annexation of Tentative Tract No. ST~l, <br />approved by the City Council, March 21, 1960, and consisting of a ten-acre parcel <br />located on North Wright Street, adjacent to the City boundary. Harry Tancredi, <br /> <br />610 E. 17th Street, developer of Tract No. 3741, inquired about the annexation of <br />this area. The Manager made his recommendations to Council (1) The consideration <br />of an Ordinance for a procedure which would provide that the City may, at Council's <br />approval~ enter into agreements which would make available to such properties the <br />water and sewer facilities of the City~ under the conditions that the property is <br />subject to annexation by the CitY, with no intervening problems; and (2) That the <br />owner of property shall file a request for such annexation. On motion of Councilman <br />Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the communication was received, filed and <br />the City Attorney instructed to prepare a procedure Ordinance. <br /> <br />On motion of CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Heinty and carried, proper officials <br />were authorized to execute agreement dated July 18, 1960, with the Pacific Water <br />Company, for a four-inch water service located at Bolsa Avenue and Figueroa Street. <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 60-136 accepting deeds where the City is <br /> paying no cash consideration" <br /> <br />from Honer Development Company, a corporation, and Allison Honer Company, a co- <br />partnership, conveying vehicular access rights on the west side of Bristol Street, <br />north of 17th Street; and free Gardendale Development Company, conveying an easement <br />for water line purposes from Corta Drive to Sugar Avenue, was considered and passed <br /> <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br />Noes, Councilmen <br />Absent ~ Councilmen <br /> <br />Royal E.
