buildings. Contractor will also provide and install the necessary fiber to hard wire trunk <br />interface devices in each of the remote buildings covered under this project scope. <br /> <br /> 4. Where possible, Siemens has estimated this project reusing to maximum extent possible the <br />existing pneumatic tubing, pneumatic devices, electric conduit, and wiring. This minimizes the <br />installation cost of the system. <br /> <br /> 5. On buildings currently with DDC controls (listed below), Contractor propose to replace the <br />DDC controllers and re-use to maximum extent possible all sensors and actuators to minimize <br />installation cost. While on buildings where there are pneumatic controls, Contractor will either <br />replace the pneumatic with DDC controls or Contractor will replace the pneumatic logic with DDC <br />and retain the end pneumatic devices such as valves and actuators. <br /> <br />City Hall 8 Story Building with Basement <br />City Hall 2 Story Building <br />City Hall Annex (Existing Siemens Controls) <br />City Hall Council Chamber <br />City Main Library <br />Corporate Yard, Administration, Water Meter, Fleet, Warehouse Building. <br /> <br />Heating Steam Heat Exchanger/Air Conditioning <br /> <br /> 1. Full DDC Control of all multizone air handler units on all buildings listed. Air handler <br />control points are to be per typical drawing as shown in Attachment 2. This will include two speed <br />constant volume fan controls, economizer and hot and cold deck control re-using existing pneumatic <br />valves and actuators whenever possible, plus all sensors. <br /> a. Control of all building heating steam heat exchanger valves and HW pumps. <br /> b. Use of MEC's on each MZU's for individual control. <br /> c. TEC control of all individual zones on each multizone unit. Existing pneumatic zone <br /> damper motors will be reused whenever possible. <br /> d. One Apogee Front end site license with computer (workstation) and complete <br /> standard graphics package for all controlled systems. To be located in the Maintenance <br /> Superintendent Office. <br /> 3. Contractor shall provide training for two of Customer's employees at Contractors <br /> Cypress Office for the following courses: <br /> <br />a. LAN Devices (32 Hours) <br />b. Beginning Apogee (32 Hours) <br />c. Advanced Apogee (32 Hours) <br />d. 40 instructor hours of on site training by Siemens instructors. <br /> <br /> <br />
