<br />would be evaluated for noise impacts and compliance with the <br />City's Noise Element and Noise Ordinance. <br /> <br />E. <br /> <br />For a project located within an airport land use plan or <br />where such a plan has not been adopted, within two miles of <br />a public airport or public use airport, would the project <br />expose people residing or working in the project area to <br />excessive noise levels? <br /> <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />The City of Santa Ana is located approximately one mile <br />northwest of John Wayne Airport and is included in the Planning <br />Area of the Orange County Airport Land Use commission Airport <br />Environs Land Use Plan for John Wayne Airport. In accordance <br />with the Environs Land Use Plan, portions of Santa Ana are <br />impacted by aircraft noise. Approval of the proposed project <br />would not result in the creations of land uses or activities <br />that would be in conflict with land use, noise compatibility <br />standards established in the Environs Land Use Plan for John <br />Wayne Airport. <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />A substantial temporary or periodic increase in ambient <br />noise levels in the project vicinity above levels existing <br />without project. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Exposure of persons to or generation of excessive <br />groundborne vibration or groundborne noise levels? <br /> <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />Approval of the proposed project would not result in any short- <br />term construction noise impacts or groundborne vibration <br />impacts, in that the approval of the proposed project would not <br />involve any activities that would emit short-term noise or <br />vibration impacts. Future neighborhood traffic plans implemented <br />under the revised procedures and amended Circulation Element <br />would be required to comply with the City's Noise Ordinance to <br />minimize construction related noise impacts. <br /> <br />XII.
