The project is a <br />total communications upgrade for the entire campus for both voice and data. During the two- <br />year project, Pacific Coast Cabling will install an Avaya SYSTIMAX Structured Connectivity <br />Solution with LANscape fiber by Corning Cable Systems to retrofit all buildings within the <br />campus. Pacific Coast Cabling has also managed the outside cable plant installation. The <br />project, the largest singte project in Pacific Coast Cabling history, is managed from the <br />company's Orange County Regional Office in Anaheim, Calif. <br /> <br />The upgrade will ensure avaitability / reliability of the network; future scalability; data <br />integrity; and will be easily integrated with CSULB's existing systems. The speed of the <br />installation, security, its performance and robustness and vatue were also important when <br />setecting a solution. <br /> <br />During the installation of the 15,000 outlets at CSULB, the Pacific Coast Cabling team worked <br />throughout all hours of the day to meet the project schedule. <br /> <br />As an Extended Warranty Provider for Avaya, Pacific Coast Cabling is able to offer a 25'year <br />warranty for each building. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />About California State University, Long Beach <br />California State University, Long 8each is a comprehensive urban university with a long- <br />standing tradition for challenging academic programs and a strong commitment to student <br />success.
