Operating and maintenance cost estimates for both day-to-day and the periodic maintenance <br />cycle. <br /> <br />, , <br /> <br />The CONSULTANT will prepare the initial procurement specifications for the light rail vehicle <br />based on the above work, The AUTHORITY is to be infonned about common specifications and <br />the possibilities for joint procurements. <br /> <br />The CONSULTANT will also prepare a rail fleet maintenance plan as required in FTA's New <br />Starts program, To do this, the vehicle design and specification team must work closely with the <br />CMF design team to ensure that the yards and shops make full use of effective and cost-efficient <br />designs and track layouts. <br /> <br />Deliverables: The CONSULTANT will prepare the following as part of this work task: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Design and speciflcation of the light rail vehicle and its major components to the 30% <br />design level. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A set of preliminary procurement specifications for the light rail vehicle. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A Rail Fleet Maintenance Plan as required by the FT A. <br /> <br />The following paragraphs describes in greater detail the work scope that resulted from the <br />CONSULT ANT's input during negotiations of the PE consulting services contract. <br /> <br />The following clarifications are included as part of the CONSULTANT's Schedule of Values: <br /> <br />Task 14.01 Rail Passenger Vehicle Criteria <br />.
