2.3 FREE STANDING POLES <br />A. Free Standing Poles shall be provided for mounting of cameras and motion detectors <br />as described in Table 2.1 and Table 2.2 within this section. Free Standing Poles shall <br />be a steel pole manufactured by Imperial Poles or approved equal. The poles shall <br />be installed per the manufacturers recommendations, including anchor bolts provided <br />by the manufacturer poured into a concrete pole base and recommended grounding. <br />2.4 ENCLOSURES <br />A. Outdoor Security Equipment Enclosures: The enclosures shall be NEMA 4 and <br />shall have flanges for wall mounting, hinged front door with lock hasp and a <br />removable interior -mounting panel for components. Enclosures shall be as <br />manufactured by Hoffman Engineering Co. or approved equal. Panels shall be as <br />manufactured by Hoffman Engineering Co. or approved equal. <br />B. Indoor Security Equipment Enclosures: The enclosures shall be NEMA 12 and <br />shall have flanges for wall mounting, hinged front door with lock hasp and a <br />removable interior -mounting panel for components. Enclosures shall be as <br />manufactured by Hoffman Engineering Co. or approved equal. Panels shall be as <br />manufactured by Hoffman Engineering Co. or approved equal. <br />2.5 INDUSTRIAL ETHERNET SWITCHES <br />A. Industrial Ethernet Switches shall be installed at each site. The Industrial Ethernet <br />Switches shall be DIN rail mounted unmanaged switches with 10/100BASE-TX <br />standards. Each TX (RJ45) port shall support 10/100Mbps speed, auto -negotiation, <br />and auto -sensing. The Industrial Ethernet Switches shall be Hirschmann Rail Family <br />Unmanaged Rail Switches Series RS2 or approved equal. Number of ports for <br />switches shall be as follows: <br />1. West Reservoir 8 ports minimum <br />2. Well 21 4 ports minimum <br />3. Well 30 4 ports minimum <br />4. Corporate Yard 16 ports minimum <br />B. Provide additional switches as required so that each Ethernet cable segment is no <br />longer than 100 meters. Additional switches, if required, shall be powered by site <br />power, housed in an outdoor enclosure and shall include a power supply. Additional <br />switches, if required, shall be supplied by the CONTRACTOR at no additional cost to <br />the CITY. <br />2.6 ETHERNET CABLE <br />A. Ethernet cable for installation at West Reservoir, Well 21 and Well 30 shall be <br />Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) cable to connect the cameras to the Industrial Ethernet <br />Switches. <br />City of Santa Ana Security Management System Specific Requirements <br />Security Management System Project Page 17100-7 <br />SantaAna_SMS_17100 <br />
