B. Ethernet cable for installation at the Corporate Yard shall be CAT6 cable to connect <br />the SMS Computer to the Industrial Ethernet Switch. <br />2.7 DC POWER SUPPLIES <br />A. 12 VDC Power Supplies: The Motion Detectors shall operate on 12 VDC power. <br />The power supply shall have a 120 VAC input and 12 VDC output, capable of <br />powering all of the 12VDC Motion Detectors at each site. The 12 VDC Power <br />Supplies shall be Power -One International Series Linear Power Supplies or approved <br />equal. <br />B. 24 VDC Power Supplies: The Industrial Ethernet Switches shall operate on 24 VDC <br />power. The power supply shall have a 120 VAC input and 24 VDC output, capable of <br />powering all of the 24VDC Industrial Ethernet Switches at each site. The 24 VDC <br />Power Supplies shall be Power -One International Series Linear Power Supplies or <br />approved equal. <br />2.8 UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY (UPS) <br />A. UPS — remote sites: The UPS shall be 120 VAC input and 120 VAC output. The <br />UPS shall be capable of powering the cameras, DC Power Supplies and all other AC <br />devices at each site for a minimum of 30 minutes. The UPS shall isolate connected <br />equipment from all incoming power problems to provide protection. The UPS shall <br />condition incoming power without depleting the battery to preserve battery power for <br />complete power outages. The UPS shall include a ConnectUPS Web/SNMP device <br />connectivity card. The UPS shall be Powerware Series 9120 or approved equal. A <br />UPS shall be provided for each of the following sites: <br />1. West Reservoir <br />2. Well 21 <br />3. Well 30 <br />B. UPS — SMS Central Computer System: The UPS shall be 120 VAC input and 120 <br />VAC output. The UPS shall be capable of powering the SMS Central Computer <br />System located at the Corporate Yard, including switches, the SMS Server Computer, <br />the SMS Color Printer and all other SMS AC devices at the Corporate Yard for a <br />minimum of 30 minutes. The UPS shall isolate connected equipment from all <br />incoming power problems to provide protection. The UPS shall condition incoming <br />power without depleting the battery to preserve battery power for complete power <br />outages. The UPS shall include a ConnectUPS Web/SNMP device connectivity card. <br />The UPS shall be Powerware Series 9120 or approved equal. A UPS shall be <br />provided for each of the following sites: <br />1. Corporate Yard <br />2.9 RELAYS <br />A. General Purpose Pin Relays: General Purpose Pin Terminal Relays shall be used for <br />alarm interposing, if required.
