RFP 05-051 <br />easily retrieve and distribute the digital information to pertinent <br />individuals world-wide. <br />♦ A System capable of expansion and will support the future <br />plans of the Santa Ana Police Department to automate the <br />capture, archive, enhancement, and retrieval of digital assets <br />including, but not limited to digital video, audio and camera <br />phone evidence. <br />♦ A digital solution that allows for the remote (outside of the <br />station/City) capture, upload, viewing, enhancement, <br />transmission, and printing of digital photographic evidence. <br />♦ A System that is compatible with all digital storage. <br />♦ A System that communicates and distributes the digital <br />evidence in universally accepted formats (i.e. jpegs, mpegs, <br />etc.) without requiring proprietary software conversions. <br />♦ A System that recognizes, accepts, and stores RAW images. <br />♦ A System that has administrative defined user viewing/printing <br />restraints and automatically creates an audit trail for all user <br />actions. <br />♦ Images shall be viewable from network -based individual PC's <br />throughout the police department and can be non-destructively <br />enhanced. <br />♦ A System that incorporates multiple backup sources, including <br />the possibility of off-site facility storage. <br />♦ A System that possesses the latest encryption technology for <br />the preservation of evidence integrity. <br />♦ All files downloaded to the System will be sequentially <br />renamed as to prevent the accidental overwriting of previous <br />files. Further, the System will discriminate between multiple <br />users at the same scene with identical cataloging/archiving <br />criteria. <br />
