—Work Plan 2 -36 <br />progress to report. M &E will prepare agendas and minutes for each progress meeting. For <br />estimating purposes 3 progress meetings are assumed. <br />1.3 Progress Reports: M &E will prepare monthly progress reports that will accompany invoices <br />to the City for services provided. The reports will outline the work performed during the <br />reporting period, problems encountered, actions taken to resolve them, and work anticipated for <br />next reporting period. Project schedule and budget will be reviewed in each monthly report and <br />the City will be alerted of any impending changes to scope or budget. No work will be performed <br />outside the original scope of work without the City's written authorization. For estimating <br />purposes 3 progress reports are assumed. <br />Task Z. Data Collection <br />Objectives: Obtain information necessary for engineering analysis /design of structures, <br />equipment, and electrical /control installations. Assess regulatory framework. <br />2.1 Drawings, Pump /Driver Data: The City will provide record drawings for the pump station <br />site, pumps, drivers, and electrical installations; the drawings should include: <br />• Structural plans and sections of the pump sump, trash racks, and approach to sump <br />• Mechanical drawings of the pump station piping, valves, and controls <br />• Site layout and alignment of suction and discharge pipes. <br />Pump /driver data should include the original pump curves plus any documentation of pump <br />performance testing. <br />2.2 Hydraulics: The City shall provide data on flow rates, pressures, and operating constraints <br />for the pump station. <br />2.3 Permitting Research: M &E, in consultation with City engineers, will assemble a list of <br />agencies with regulatory jurisdiction over the project. Each agency's requirements will be listed <br />for consideration during the pre - design and design phases, and permit applications will be <br />obtained. <br />2.4 Maintenance Records: Pump and motor maintenance records will be reviewed if available. <br />These records should list pump and motor parts that were repaired and replaced, and the timing <br />of such repairs /replacements. <br />Task 3. Condition Assessment (Optional) <br />Objectives: Assess the condition of structures, facilities, and equipment at the pump station to <br />define /verify which system components are in need of repair cr replacement. <br />3.1 Data Sheet Preparation: Inspection data sheets will be prepared beforehand that will include <br />a check list of components to be inspected.
