<br />TIME LINES <br /> <br />Request for Proposal Issued <br />Proposals Due Date <br />Proposal Review Period <br />Proposal Approval Date <br /> <br />7/15/05 <br />8/19/05 <br />8/22/05 - 9/02/05 <br />9/09/05 <br /> <br />Proposal submittal and format: Proposals mav be submitted by email to Fran Jutzi at <br />fiutzi(aJ.ci.santa-ana.ca.us. Proposals must be on Microsoft Word. spread sheets on <br />Excel and all attachments or other documents must be downloadable with no special <br />software needed. The complete proposal must be accessible on email otherwise <br />proposers must submit 5 copies (mail or hand delivered), with one original signature by <br />the August 19, 2005, 5 pm deadline. Proposals submitted by email must be VIRUS <br />FREE. Proposals that cannot be opened because of a VIRUS will be determined NON- <br />RESPONSIVE AND NOT CONSIDERED FOR THIS PROCURMENT. However if <br />a submittal has a virus, the submitter will be notified and if time allows they may deliver <br />the required hard copies of the proposal as long as it is received by the required deadline. <br /> <br />An oril!inal silmed hard copv of each proposal submitted via email must also be <br />mailed to: <br /> <br />Santa Ana Workforce Investment Board, <br />ROI Study Proposal Attn: Fran Jutzi <br />888 W. Santa Ana Blvd., #208 (hand delivered) or <br />P.O. Box 1988 - M73 (for mail), <br />Santa Ana, CA 92702-1988 <br /> <br />Proposals will not be accepted after 5 pm on the due date (8/19/05). <br /> <br />If a proposal has been sent via email and accepted. the silmed hard copv is due <br />within 5 worklnl! davs (8-26-05). <br /> <br />Any questions regarding this Request for Proposal (RFP) may be directed to Fran Jutzi at <br />(714) 565-2621. The WIB will not be responsible for proposals lost or delayed for any <br />reason. <br /> <br />STATEMENT OF WORK <br /> <br />In order for the ROI study to be meaningful, it needs to carefully study the relevant data <br />and present objective results in a reader friendly format. The resulting document will be <br />utilized by the WIB members and staff to communicate the effectiveness of the <br />workforce investment system in Santa Ana to elected officials both locally and in <br />Washington DC and to the general public. The ROI study will become a marketing tool <br />designed to provide actual hard numbers to a system that is generally thought of as <br /> <br />3 <br />
