Santa Ana Renaissance Specific Plan
Proposal Clarifications by Moule & Polyzoides
Item 3:
Create a more detailed schedule of personnel allocation for M&P and clarify if the
meetings/hearings nclude "pre-charrette interviews. If so, how many interviews (hours)
are allocated?
Response:
Personnel Allocation
The following staff are assigned to this project and will support it as described below. In
addition, our office has administrative staff that supports this team. In the event of a
scheduling conflict, due to circumstances unforeseen at this time, equally qualified staff
may have to be substituted to address the needs of the project at the particular time.
Stefanos Polyzoides is the principal -in -charge and will oversee all work and activity on the
part of the consultant team. Stefanos will be the primary presenter at public meetings,
workshops, study sessions and public hearings.
Anthony Perez is the project manager and will manage and supervise the consultant
team's work on a daily basis with daily reports and updates to Stefanos Polyzoides.
Anthony will be responsible for coordinating all sub -consultants, preparing the various
documents to be submitted to the city and meeting with city staff throughout the
process. Anthony will be the city's primary contact for day-to-day operations.
Roberto Moreno is the project designer that, under the supervision of Stefanos
Polyzoides, will be responsible for generating design responses to the variety of issues
and needs that will arise throughout the process. Roberto's contributions will be most
visible during the charrette phase of this project.
Orlando Gonzales is the day-to-day project designer that will assist in the pre-charrette
phase, charrette phase and the document -preparation phase.
Jason Claypoolwill assist the team in the pre-charrette and charrette phases.
Xiao flan He will assist in the charrette phase of the work to prepare the detailed
perspectives of the emerging vision that ultimately get published in the Specific Plan.
Pre-Charrette Interview Hours
This figure is dependent upon the needs of the project as it evolves through the process.
For example, a meeting may be expected to last 3 hours but it actually requires 5. The extra
hours are part of our work. However, for example, a 2 hour meeting is not to be
considered a half-day or greater type of meeting. We will spend the time necessary to
speak to the staff, individuals, and stakeholder groups that are identified to us. An extra
services adjustment to this scope would be required if, for example, a new meeting or
another party to be interviewed that cannot be incorporated into an already planned
meeting, is added after the above is identified. but at this time, is estimated as follows:
Task /lnteryiew Staff Hours Mtgs Estimate
t.
