.

.

3. Do you provide out-of-state bill review services? If so, please describe.

California providers generate over 90% of our work. For clients with
out-of-state exposure, we do provide national bill review service and are
currently reviewing to 24 different states' regulations. Should the City
of Santa Ana have an injured worker out of state, those bills are
subject to the guidelines of the California Official Medical Fee Schedule.
It is our experience, however, that out-of-state providers will agree to
accept their own state's reirnbursement level when less than that of
California.

4. Do you have Errors and Omissions coverage?

Yes. We are also covered for General Uability.

. What are the limits?

LOM carries $1,000,000 in Errors and Omissions (Professional
Liability) coverage. Should the City of Santa Ana require additional
limits, we would be glad to make this adjustment to our policy.

FUNCTIONAL

5. Do you provide an expert witness for WCAB Appearances?

Yes.
. If so, at what cost? Provide a sample scenario.

LOM does not charge for an expert witness to appear at the
WCAB. When a provider contests a reduction, usually the
employer's defense attorney will request the original analyst's
presence at a noticed WCAB proceeding in order to "qualify" that
analyst as an expert in the field of automated bill review and its
application to the OFMS. Although. as much notice as possible is
desirable, our witness can usually be made available immediately.
Our analysts have repeatedly qualified at the WCAB with their
testimony upheld.

6.

Do you provide defense before the WCAB, in addition to
expert Witness?

any

Yes.

2
