<br />6. Section lIB., Item 4: Will goal posts require removal first in order to install <br />the new scoreboard? The contractor can remove the goal posts if they deem it <br />necessary to install the scoreboard. <br /> <br />7. Section II.c.: Does the City currently have a beverage contract with a <br />specific company giving them exclusive advertising rights on the scoreboard? <br />No, the City does not have a contract with any beverage company. <br /> <br />8. Section III.A., Item 1 to be revised to add the following: <br />The City may negotiate with the successful vendor to include changes proposed in <br />their conceptual designs. <br /> <br />9. Section III.A., Item 3 to be revised to add the following sentence: <br />The price quote provided by proposers shall include all applicable taxes. <br /> <br />10. Section III.B., Item 1 to be revised to add Item I-g to read: <br />Vendor shall be required to obtain California engineers stamped approval on all <br />required plans, calculations, and specifications. <br /> <br />II. Section III.B., Item 2 to be revised to add item "e" to read as follows: <br />Vendor shall provide the City and selected school staff with fully comprehensive <br />on-site technical training sessions that cover all aspects of the scoreboard and <br />marquee software and their capabilities. Please specify in your proposal how <br />many hours oftraining this will include and the total cost for such training. <br /> <br />12. Section III.B., Item 3-bl: Is there a reason why the proposed scoreboard is <br />only 25 feet wide, as opposed to 35 feet or larger? The City will consider any <br />scoreboard proposals submitted with larger dimensions as an alternate proposaL <br />The vendor's base proposal, however, shall be based on the specifications <br />included in the RFP. The costs for a larger scoreboard can be included as an <br />alternate proposaL <br /> <br />13. Section III.B., Item 3-b-5: Should the LED message display read 23 mm <br />instead of 20 mm as called out in this section? 20 mm, as currently identified <br />in the specifications for the scoreboard message display, is correct. (23 mm <br />called out on the scoreboard rendering (Attachment B in the original proposal) <br />refers to the optional VideoPlus message display, which the City has determined <br />would not be an option at this time.) <br /> <br />14. Section III.B., Item 3-b-lO shall be revised to read as follows: <br />One 16x144 Galaxy@ RGB LED display panel (Home Of The [Team Name]). <br />The scoreboard rendering (Attachment B in the original proposal) shall be revised <br />to identify the display panel as: Galaxy@ Display AF-3400 16xI44-46-RGB. <br /> <br />15. Section III.B., Item 5: Will the proposed marquee be placed in the same <br />location as the existing marquee? Yes, however, the new marquee will have to <br />be moved back a few feet to prevent overhang into the public right-of-way. <br /> <br />
