EXTERIOR WALLS AND SIDING <br />A. Exterior walls and siding shall be properly supported and structurally sound. They <br />shall be void of holes, large cracks and any other hazardous deterioration and/or <br />damage. Exposed surfaces shall be weather protected (painted). <br />B. In addition, new walls and siding shall comply with applicable codes, standards and <br />requirements adopted by the City of Santa Ana. <br />EXTERIOR DOORS <br />A. Exterior doors shall operate smoothly and be void of holes, severe deterioration and <br />damage. Exterior doors shall be void of any damaged or missing hardware. Exposed <br />surfaces shall be weather protected (primed and painted). <br />B. In addition, new exterior doors shall comply with the following standards; <br />(1) Solid core construction (exterior grade), <br />(2) Completely weather-stripped and installed with an aluminum threshold. <br />(3) Standard duty lock -set (5 pin tumbler / %2" throw), <br />(4) Standard duty dead -bolt (5 pin tumbler / 1" throw (keyed outside and thumb turn <br />inside). <br />WINDOWS <br />A. All windows shall operate smoothly and be equipped with venting screens. Windows <br />shall also be void of cracked or broken glass and any damaged or missing hardware. <br />,Screens shall not be torn or otherwise damaged. <br />B. In addition, new windows shall comply with the following standards: <br />(1) Aluminum frame with baked enamel finish, <br />(2) Single glazing (or dual if required), locking hardware and fiberglass venting <br />screens. <br />EXTERIOR LIGHT FIXTURES <br />A. Exterior light fixtures shall operate properly and be void of missing globes. <br />B. In addition, new exterior lighting shall comply with applicable codes, standards and <br />. requirements adopted by the City of Santa Ana. <br />INTERIOR WALLS AND CEILINGS <br />A. Interior walls and ceilings shall be properly supported and structurally sound. interior <br />walls and ceilings shall be void of holes, large cracks and any hazardous deterioration <br />and/or damage.
