HVAC Equipment Replacement <br />Total price for this portion of the Work: $697,065 <br />Buildings Included. <br />City Facilities: <br />• Bowers Museum <br />• City Hall - Ross Annex <br />• Corporate Yard <br />• Fire Stations 4,6,9 <br />• SW Senior Center <br />Scope of Work <br />• Contractor's Work is limited to work above the roofline for rooftop except for items <br />specifically stated below <br />Roof Mounted Package Unit Replacements (a, Fire Stations. Bowers Museum. Corporate Yard <br />and SW Senior Center <br />• Contractor to remove the existing rooftop unit(s) and provide for disposal, including <br />refrigerant. <br />• Remove existing units, listed below in Table 1, and install new replacement HVAC <br />unit(s) as set forth in Table 2, below. Unit will be fit to the existing curb and the ex- <br />isting zone head. Replace or repair defective roof curbs. Provide start-up of new <br />unit. <br />• New units to be high efficiency (11.3 EER minimum) units of same capacity and <br />configuration complete with economizer. <br />• Unit will be of equal or lesser weight than existing units. <br />• Provide and wire smoke detectors for applicable new units. <br />• Provide seismic attachment to meet existing applicable codes. <br />• Following installation, Contractor shall perform a certified Air Balance of the System <br />(sample attached as Attachment 1). Contractor shall not be responsible for correc- <br />tive measures <br />• Provide new ductwork above roofline and connect to ductwork below. <br />• Provide for connection and termination of new condensate drain lines (copper) to <br />meet existing applicable building codes. <br />4
