Exhibit A City of Santa Ana <br />Scope of Work Phase II <br />Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. <br />This proposal assumes strengthening of the existing roof structure will not be re- <br />quired. Strengthening of the roof structural members, if required, is considered an <br />additional service along with any costs incurred for approval. <br />• Contractor is not responsible for repair of any damaged structural members caused <br />by water, termites or any other unknown damage to existing members. <br />1.1.4. Controls Upgrades <br />Total price for this portion of the Work is $98,229 <br />City Facilities <br />• City Hall- Ross Annex <br />• Corporate Yard <br />• Transportation Center <br />Scope of Work: <br />City Hall - Ross Annex <br />• The building currently has three (3) Trane rooftop package units <br />• Sub-contract to Trane for installing Intellipak into each rooftop unit <br />• Provide conduit & wire connecting the three rooftop units to a Building Control Unit <br />(BCU) panel furnished by Trane <br />• Mount BCU panel for communication to the Rooftop units <br />• BCU to be mounted on roof in weather-proof enclosure <br />• Mount a Mechanical Equipment Controller (MEC) in weather-proof enclosure next to <br />BCU and nipple conduit and wire for communications <br />• Run communication line & Floor Level Network (FLN) from MEC on roof down to <br />ground floor Terminal Equipment Controller (TEC). <br />• Use FLN line from TEC to workstation in City hall as a pull string to install new Area <br />Level Network (ALN) communication line <br />Corporate Yard <br />• There are 3 package units on the roof of the Fleet Building <br />• Provide TEC control & new t stats for each unit. <br />• Run communication line from units to existing TEC in electric room # 217 <br />• TEC is connected to warehouse control system <br />Transportation Center <br />• There are 76 standalone package fan coil units in the building <br />• Some of the units are on time clocks, the balance have no control <br />• Provide start/stop/status of each fan coil unit <br />• Control of unit to be at the beaker panels
