FY 2025-26 CDBG Program Funding Plan <br />Program Summaries <br />Housing <br />Project Title Organization Funding Description <br />Single-Family <br />Housing <br />Rehabilitation <br />Program <br />Habitat for <br />Humanity of <br />Orange County <br />$500,000 <br />CDBG funds will be used to rehabilitate properties to address code <br />violations, potential code violations, or unsafe living conditions. The <br />maximum amount of grant funds available for any qualified property <br />is $25,000 unless approved by City Council. Funding will go toward <br />rehabilitation and staff costs. <br />Down Payment <br />Assistance Program City of Santa Ana $882,961 <br />The “My First Home Program” will offer down payment assistance <br />loans to first-time home buyers to aid in the purchase of a home in <br />the City of Santa Ana. Funds will be made available on a first- <br />come, first-served basis. A first-time home buyer may be eligible to <br />borrow up to $120,000 with a 0% interest rate. <br />City Capital Improvements <br />Project Title Organization Funding Description <br />Street Improvements <br />(Cedar Street) and <br />Greening Project <br />City of Santa Ana <br />Public Works <br />Agency (PWA) <br />$591,955 This project entails the rehabilitation of existing asphalt concrete <br />pavement of residential streets in the Cedar Neighborhood and <br />the Bristol-Tolliver Street Urban Greening Project. <br />EXHIBIT 3
