<br /> <br />Orange County 157 25-29 Regional AFH <br /> <br />Census Tracts, utilizing the Housing Conditions Survey and Code <br />Enforcement information to further target assistance. <br />6. Identify apartments in need of rehabilitation and cooperate with <br />nonprofit providers to acquire and rehabilitate units and provide as <br />long-term affordable housing. Seek to complete at least two projects, <br />including the 47-unit Walnut Village in partnership with Jamboree <br />Housing. <br />Between 2021-2029 <br />7. Continue to improve access to individuals with disabilities through ADA <br />improvements to streets, sidewalks, and public facilities. Dedicate or <br />seek funding, including annual CDBG allocations, to prioritize <br />infrastructure and accessibility improvements in Low and Moderate <br />Resource opportunity areas. <br />Ongoing <br />8. Increased public and private investment in Low and Moderate Resource <br />Census Tracts, including $2,000,000 allocated for a variety of ADA, park <br />facilities, transportation, water, and sewer line improvements in these <br />Census Tracts during 2021-2029. <br />2021-2029 <br />Increase housing opportunities in high opportunity areas through the <br />following actions: <br /> <br />9. Starting in 2023, work with the FHCOC to contact landlords of affordable <br />multifamily complexes every two years and provide fair housing <br />information and assistance. This outreach will focus on promoting the <br />Section 8 voucher program to landlords who have not previously <br />participated in the program and should include multi-lingual materials. <br />Through landlord outreach in coordination with the FHCOC and housing <br />mobility programs through the Orange County Housing Authority, the <br />City's goal will be to increase Housing Choice Vouchers by 10%, from <br />114 to 125 vouchers, including a 10% increase in high resource <br />neighborhoods. <br />Every two years; <br />2021-2029 <br />10. Rezone sufficient parcels to provide geographically dispersed sites for <br />over 1,100 lower-income units, fostering a more inclusive community. <br />2022 <br />11. Provide significant new housing opportunities in Highest Resource <br />eastern Brea through development of a diverse mix of 1,100 new units <br />in the Brea 265 project, including an estimated 76 deed restricted <br />affordable units as required through the City’s inclusionary ordinance. <br />Pursue the introduction of workforce housing on Amazon’s 31-acre <br />warehouse site in eastern Brea. <br />2021-2029 <br />12. Update Brea’s Affordable Housing Ordinance in 2022 to integrate low- <br />and moderate-income units in market rate projects throughout the <br />community <br />2022 <br />EXHIBIT 6
