<br /> <br />Orange County 185 25-29 Regional AFH <br /> <br />a. Annually pursuing funding to adopt permit-ready ADU <br />plans to minimize design costs, expedite permit <br />processing, and provide development certainty. <br />b. Developing an ADU Manual guiding applicants through <br />the construction of an ADU by December 2024. <br />c. Developing an ADU webpage informing the community <br />on ADU related codes, processes, and incentives <br />December 2024. <br />d. Developing and implementing a public awareness <br />campaign for construction of ADUs and the City’s <br />incentives utilizing all forms of media and outreach <br />distribution December 2024. <br />e. Establishing incentives for ADUs, with an emphasis on <br />affordable ADUs by December 2024. <br />9. Research and establish home sharing program(s) and/or <br />policies. <br />2025 <br />10. Coordinate with local organizations to assist with matching <br />tenants with existing homeowners. The City will assist with <br />outreach, facilitate annual presentations, and conduct outreach <br />to eligible and potential homeowners. <br />Annually <br />11. Facilitate the development of at least 30 units on publicly- <br />owned properties, with an emphasis on areas with relatively <br />higher opportunity, higher median income and RCAAs. <br />2021-2029 <br />12. Increase fair housing knowledge and enforcement through the <br />following actions: <br /> <br />a. In partnership the city's fair housing provider, conduct <br />multi-faceted fair housing outreach to tenants, <br />landlords, property owners, realtors, and property <br />management companies. Methods of outreach should <br />include workshops, informational booths, presentations <br />to civic leaders and community groups, staff training, <br />and distribution of multi- lingual fair housing literature. <br />Ongoing <br />b. Provide general counseling and referrals to address <br />tenant-landlord issues and provide periodic tenant- <br />landlord walk-in clinics at City Halls and other <br />community locations. <br />Ongoing <br />c.
