<br /> <br />Orange County 200 25-29 Regional AFH <br /> <br />1. Review and amend (if necessary) Reasonable <br />Accommodation regulations and procedures. <br />Review and amend regulations and <br />procedures by the end of FY 25/26. <br />2. Provide information on supportive services for <br />individuals with disabilities, single female-headed <br />households, and homeless individuals via the OC <br />Social Services Agency. <br />Conduct annually by Dec. 31st of each <br />year. <br />3. Partner with OCTA and publish public transit <br />program info (OC Flex, OC ACCESS Service, and <br />youth rider free pass). <br />Conduct bi-annually by Dec. 31st of each <br />year. <br /> <br />Issue: Disproportionate Housing Needs <br />The City’s 2021-2029 Housing Element identified substandard housing conditions for low-income <br />households as an issue facing low-income residents in the city. Additionally, housing cost burden <br />is an issue for renters throughout Orange County. <br />Contributing Factors: <br />Substandard housing conditions due to: <br />1. Insufficient affordable and healthy homes for very-low incomes. <br />2. Lack of insufficient outreach and education on code enforcement. <br />3. Insufficient funding for repairs or rehabilitation. <br />4. Via Iglesia neighborhood has homes in need of repairs <br />Actions: <br />Reduce existence of substandard housing <br />conditions through the following actions: <br />Timeframe: <br />1. Add information about the City's Code <br />Enforcement service on the City's website <br />for renters and owners. <br />Information added on City’s website to be <br />completed by the end of FY 25/26. Annually, <br />conduct one informational campaign on Code <br />Enforcement services with the goal of reaching at <br />least 10 renters and 10 owners. <br />2. Create educational materials about <br />healthy homes, and post information on <br />the City's website. <br />Educational materials to be completed by the end <br />of FY 25/26 and posted to the <br />City’s website annually. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT 6
