<br /> <br />Orange County 204 25-29 Regional AFH <br /> <br />Actions: Timeframe: <br />The city will ensure equal access to housing, expand access to <br />opportunity for all protected class groups, and increase <br />community integration for individuals with disabilities through <br />the following actions: <br /> <br />1. Continue to provide an estimated 6,500 Section 8 Rental <br />Assistance Vouchers annually, subject to federal funding <br />availability, to qualified tenants. <br />2. Develop and maintain a database of existing housing in high <br />and highest resource areas/Racially Concentrated Areas of <br />Affluence (RCAAs) which has the potential to provide <br />voucher-based unit(s), including ADUs. <br />3. Develop a targeted outreach program to recruit potential <br />additional landlords in these areas. <br />Continue to award all funded <br />Section 8 Rental Assistance <br />Vouchers annually. <br />Develop database and conduct <br />first annual outreach program <br />by October 2025. <br />Target and increase the portion <br />of Section 8 Rental Assistance <br />Vouchers leased in high and <br />highest resource areas/Racially <br />Concentrated Areas of <br />Affluence (RCAAs) in planning <br />period. <br />4. In partnership with the Fair Housing Council of OC, <br />disseminate and display for public viewing information <br />regarding fair housing law applicable to landlords, tenants, <br />sellers, buyers, real estate professionals and others in the <br />housing industry at City Community Centers / Family <br />Resource Centers/ Youth Centers. <br />Include in Scope of Services for <br />Fair Housing Council of OC no <br />later than October 2026. <br />5. Continue to implement the Homelessness Action Plan, <br />including the four overarching principles: <br />• Housing First: The City of Anaheim commits to following <br />nationally recognized best practices in addressing <br />homelessness including Housing First practices and the <br />belief that housing and housing support services are the <br />solutions to homelessness. <br />• Person-Centered: All programs funded by the City strive <br />to be person- centered, including prioritizing trauma- <br />informed care and acknowledging that people <br />experiencing homelessness understand best what <br />services and supports are needed to help them gain and <br />keep housing that will resolve their homelessness. <br />• Equity: The City commits to incorporating equity into <br />service delivery systems and using data to evaluate gaps <br />in service and identify areas of improvement so that <br />every household in City- funded programs receives <br />Ongoing with update to the <br />Homeless Action Plan for July <br />2024 – June 2028. <br />The Homeless Action Plan has <br />the following metrics: <br />Decrease unsheltered <br />homelessness by 70% and <br />overall homelessness by 50%. <br />EXHIBIT 6
