Section 41-2002 (Nonconforming Buildings, Structures and Uses) of Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Sec. 41-2002. Nonconforming Buildings, Structures and Uses (a) A nonconforming building, structure or use shall comply with Article VI of this Chapter, except as provided below medified as follows: (1) A building or structure that does not conform to the architectural style or story height requirements at the time of the adepf&n of this Article shall not cause the structure to be non -conforming. 2) A nonconforming building, structure or use shall not be required to conform to current zoning regulations based solely upon a change in ownership of the property, except as otherwise provided in this Article. (3) A sale, lease or other transfer of a property containing a nonconforming building, structure or use does not trigger the loss of nonconforming status, except as otherwise provided in this Article. (24)Sections 41-681.1 through 41-681.4 and 41-683.6 of Article VI of this Chapter shall not apply to this buildings, structures and uses addressed within this Article or building, structures, and uses within SD-84, nor to existing accessory dwelling units (ADUs) permitted by the City of Santa Ana before the amendment to this Article.
