Nursing Assistant Training Program <br /> tablets are NOT allowed. No sharing of calculators is allowed. If the student <br /> forgets to bring a calculator, they must work out the problem manually. <br /> 7. Tests/examinations are timed at one minute per question. Reasonable <br /> accommodation due to disability in taking the test/exam is granted only when the <br /> disability has been declared PRIOI, to program admission and legitimate proof of <br /> S. Mudentsyfrenot allowed to leave the testing area while the test/exam is on-g ing. <br /> Students are advised to meet their personal needs prior to taking the test/exam. <br /> 9. Students are not allowed in the testing area and surrounding vicinity after the <br /> have completed the test/exam. Students are not allowed to discuss the answer, of <br /> the test/exam within hearing distance of those who are still testing. <br /> 10 All tests must be returned prior to leaving the testing area. <br /> I 1 The instructor may review the result of the test after everyone has taken it. <br /> During the review, students arc not allowed to record, take a picture, write <br /> notes, or take a copy of the test. <br /> 12 A student who has missed a test/exam must schedule to take the test/exam wi hin <br /> one week upon returning to class. A different version of the test/exam may b <br /> given. Regardless of the student's actual test score, the maximum score a stu lent <br /> can get for a late test is 90%. However, a student may write an appeal for a fl.11 <br /> credit to the Program Director. The appeal must indicate the reason why the t st <br /> was missed and must be supported with a proof. The Program Director reserves <br /> the right to reject the appeal. <br /> Written Assignments <br /> The gu delines for written assignments are; <br /> 1. All references used in written assignments must be documented. Failure to do so is <br /> considered plagiarism. <br /> 2. Students are expected to complete their own assignments. Copying the work c f <br /> another person is dishonest. <br /> 3. Guidelines for the proper citation of references used in any assignment can be found <br /> in the APA manual. <br /> A. Guidelines about plagiarism and how to guard against it can be found at; <br /> www.antiplagiarism.com. <br /> 5. You may also wish to take advantage of Internet resources such as, <br /> www.turnitin.com to check your own understanding or plagiarism prior <br /> to submitting a paper. <br /> Clinic 1 Performance <br /> The sti dent is expected to strictly observe the following expectations and guidelines i i the <br /> clinica setting. <br /> 1. Attendance. The student must observe the attendance policy. Students are held <br /> accountable for any tardy and/or absence. <br /> 2. Dress code. All students are required to follow Dress Code policy. <br /> 3. Flexibility to Clinical Assignments.
