Building Division Comments <br />Project ID:DP-2023-2 Planner: Fernanda Arias <br />Project:Anchor Stone Christian Church Reviewer: Tung Le <br />Address:2938 Daimler Street Date:February 16, 2023 <br />Project Overview <br />The project scope is to propose change of use to an existing 3843 sq.ft. office space to a church. <br />The church’s operation hours will be Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Saturday from 10am to <br />7pm, and Sunday from 9am to 4pm. Additionally, they will hold mas on special holidays and bible <br />school for on week during the summer. This project will required administrative approval of the <br />development project Review and discretionary approval of a conditional use permit. <br />Building Division’s Comments <br />Please realize this is not an official Building Department plan review. The review is for a <br />conceptual scope only. The comments below serve as a guideline of potential Building Code <br />provisions that may not be realized by the applicant. This is not an inclusive comment list. <br />Additional comments may apply during the building permit process. Approval of the CUP is not <br />an approval of the floor plan layout nor a building permit. <br />Architectural drawings and Project Description have been reviewed. Please review the following <br />comments: <br />I. SITE PLAN REVIEW - BUILDING SAFETY DIVISION <br />A. Building Safety Division: <br />1. Provide a fully dimensioned plot plan. Show all property lines of record on the plot <br />plan including “interior” property lines. Show all future or proposed property lines <br />and so indicate. <br />2. Submit drawings including complete building code analysis to Building Department <br />for preliminarily review of this project. The analysis shall include but not limited to: <br />a. Allowable building height per CBC Table 504.3 and Table 504.4 <br />b. Area tabulation justifying floor area(s) of building(s) (CBC Sections 503, <br />506, 507, and 508 and CBC Table 506.2) <br />b. Exit plans including means of egress to public way <br />c. Provide plumbing fixtures calculation to show required and provided <br />plumbing fixture per California Plumbing Code. <br />3. Changes in building or site use or occupancy classification require compliance with <br />the CBC requirements for the new use/occupancy classification(s). <br />4. Plans, computations and specifications are required to be prepared and stamped <br />by a California licensed architect or engineer for Assembly (A) occupancy <br />classifications.
