In fight of the city's consistent yearly increase in call <br /> volume, BDC will assess each station pursuant to the following <br /> parameters: <br /> - Current physical age, condition and any need for capital repairs and <br /> upgrades; <br /> - Adequacy of station's size and capacity to serve the community; <br /> - Any limitations of existing site size that could inhibit future growth or <br /> expansion; <br /> - Functionality of current site layout and its adequacy for <br /> accommodating fire apparatus including safe and efficient ingress <br /> and egress; <br /> - Any deficiency in in technology including the use of antiquated <br /> systems or other building elements; <br /> - Assessment of whether recommended capital improvements <br /> warrant the investment, or, if a full station replacement is both more <br /> cost-effective while providing better service to the community. <br /> * Addenda. The report will contain an addendum that includes the <br /> following documentation that supports the contents and <br /> recommendations made: <br /> - Qualifications of BDC personnel involved in inspections and <br /> recommendations; <br /> - Structural engineer's report; <br /> Third-party reports such as roof diagrams and analyses, backup <br /> emergency generator inspections, etc.; <br /> Sources used for cost estimation; <br /> Contractor quotes for repairs, capital upgrades and equipment <br /> sales and installation (i.e. roof contractors, generator repairs or <br /> replacement, etc. <br /> • Report Format(s). The final report will be provided as follows: <br /> Three (3) printed copies of the final report, <br /> Three thumb/zip drives that contain a) the entire report in .PDF <br /> format, folder contain all photographs, and a folder that contain all <br /> drone video files taken during inspections. <br /> 7 <br />
