-r SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Intersections shall be kept open until work takes place within the intersection. Local <br /> vehicular and pedestrian access, including access to driveways and businesses, <br /> shall be maintained at all times. Pedestrian access (minimum 4-foot width) across <br /> both streets in an intersection must be maintained at all times. <br /> Where parking is prohibited during construction, "TEMPORARY NO PARKING" <br /> signs shall be posted at least twenty-four hours, but no more than forty-eight hours, <br /> in advance of the work. The signs shall be placed no more than 150 feet apart on <br /> each side of the alleys, streets and parking areas and at shorter intervals if <br /> conditions warrant. The Contractor shall provide the signs and will be responsible <br /> for adding the dates and hours of closure to the signs. <br /> Compensation for all traffic control shall be considered paid for under other items <br /> of work involved, and no additional compensation will be allowed therefore. <br /> 2.11 VEHICLE SIGNAGE <br /> Contractors shall be required to have identification signage on all vehicles at all <br /> times while working in an official capacity for the City. Such signage shall be of a <br /> professional manner and maintained neat in appearance, free of graffiti, easily <br /> identifiable and in sound condition. All costs associated with the fabrication of such <br /> signage shall be borne by the contractor. Contact City Staff prior to ordering for <br /> approval. <br /> Signage type and material shall be plastic with magnetic backing, painted on vehicle <br /> or similar.
