SANTA ANA <br />Police Department <br />60 Civic Center Plaza <br />Santa Ana CA, 92701 <br />Supplemental Report <br />Case No. <br />2025-01014 <br />Incident Activity Summary: <br />Stolen/Recovered: (Report-wide)$0.00 $0.00 <br />Narrative: Narrative <br />On 1-15-2025 at 1246 hours, I was working uniformed patrol in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange. On the <br />above date and time, I heard Officer J. Mondragon #3893 request a supervisor to his location for an uncooperative <br />male. Below is a synopsis of my involvement in investigation. <br />I responded to assist and read the details of Officer Mondragon’s call at the Holiday Inn Express at 1600 E. 1st <br />St. The call comments said the guest in room 1007 had no paid in a couple of days and was refusing to leave the <br />premises. <br />When I arrived on the 10th Floor, Officer Mondragon was at the open door to room 1007 along with Officer F. Corpus <br />#3721, Officer I. Ibarra #3178, Officer J. Hernandez #3716, and Officer F. Rodriguez #3967. Officer Mondragon said <br />he had spoken to a representative of the property who desired prosecution for trespassing and was willing to sign a <br />private person’s arrest form for violation of PC 602(o). Officers had been giving commands in a calm voice since my <br />arrival, and continued to do so, to the male inside room. <br />I looked inside the room and a saw a male Black, later positively identified through a DMV photo as Freddie <br />Washington, seated in a chair in the southeast portion of the room. Although he appeared to shout back at the <br />Officers, seemingly acknowledging there were there an speaking to him, he refused to obey commands and leave the <br />room.
