COUNTY will provide initial training to a <br />limited number of CONTRACTOR's staff with respect to CalWORKS WTW <br />regulations and COUNTY policies and procedures. CONTRACTOR shall <br />conduct subsequent training(s) and refresher training yearly. <br />COUNTY will provide technical information to CONTRACTOR on these <br />requirements, but it will be CONTRACTOR's sole responsibility to <br />ensure that CONTRACTOR's staff understand and correctly implement <br />the requirements cited when providing WTW services. <br />15. 1. 4 CONTRACTOR shall be required to attend <br />training(s) and/or meetings that COUNTY determines to be <br />mandatory, and provide CONTRACTOR staff with ongoing training and <br />assistance to ensure that contract deliverables are met. <br />15. 1.5 CONTRACTOR shall ensure that CONTRACTOR's staff <br />receives training in understanding the cultural differences among <br />groups of participants, and recognizes and effectively intervenes <br />to overcome any language and/or cultural barriers to employment. <br />15.1.6CONTRACTOR shall maintain a log of in-house <br />training activities and participants. This log shall be made <br />available to COUNTY upon request. <br />15.2 Staff Duties and Qualifications: <br />CONTRACTOR shall provide the following described staff <br />positions: <br />15.2.1Workforce Specialist II (SA WIB Case Manager) <br />Duties: <br />(WAM0313) 18 of 22 <br />(April 8, 2013) <br />25B-68
