2015 Orange County -Children's Therapeutic Arts Center__ -- <br />Youth Employment Program - WIOA Proposal <br />entered post -secondary education we are able to purchase some, if not all, of their <br />college course books. For those who have entered a credential program some if not <br />all fees can be paid off. <br />4. Food: All participants are able to receive a monthly distribution of food that will allow <br />them to have meals when at home or in school, when outside of OCCTAC. Youth are <br />also eligible to have food and eat before and/or after or during their break times <br />while at OCCTAC. <br />5. Work Related: All participants are eligible for work related material when needed, to <br />help obtain or keep employment such as portfolios, clothing etc. <br />B. Include the Supportive Service Policy as Attachment G. <br />Please see attached OCCTAC Support Service Policy for more specific details. <br />13. Incentives: <br />A. Will your organization provide incentives to youth for accomplishing program <br />benchmarks or personal goals, if so, please describe. — Yes WIOA staff will be providing <br />youth with incentives that will encourage them to accomplish their goals, and obtain the <br />necessary skills to move forward in employment and education. Please see Incentive <br />Policy as attachment H. <br />Some of Examples of incentives are as follows: <br />• Stipends: participants are eligible to obtain $598 during their completion of their <br />first 80 hours. <br />• High School Dropout students: participants are eligible to obtain $50 for every <br />two courses they are able to complete during the first year of the program. As well <br />as $50 gift card for passing either the math or English or both section on the <br />Chasee <br />B. Include the Incentive Policy as Attachment H. <br />Please see attached OCCTAC Incentive Policy for more specific details. <br />14.Follow-Up Services (3 pages max) <br />A. Youth Service Providers are required to provide follow-up services to youth participants <br />12 months after exit. Follow-up documentation will be required 30 days after exit, 60 <br />days after exit, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter after exit. Yes, OCCTAC staff will comply <br />with all WIOA required regulations and program requirements. Please see below Table 9 <br />that delineates all follow-up services. <br />B. Elaborate on the types of services that will be provided to youth during each quarter <br />during the 12 month follow-up period. The following table describes the services that <br />can be obtained and provided to youth during any part of their 12 month follow up <br />period.
