Section 5 <br />sampling and redevelopment activities would only involve the use of light weight <br />trucks and a few pieces of construction equipment and would generate minimal <br />amount of traffic trips Outside of the peak traffic periods- The potential long term <br />operational traffic impacts on project area roadways and intersections would be <br />less than significant. <br />The construction operations for the monitoring well would involve the mobilization <br />and demobilization of construction equipment to the project site. The mobilization <br />and demobilization activities would only in few pieces of equipment would Occur <br />outside of the peak hour traffic periods. The potential short term construction <br />traffic impacts on project area roadways and intersections would be less than <br />significant. <br />Alternative 3: Reduced Intensity Alternative <br />Under Alternative 3, one less injection welt and a reduced arriount of pipeline <br />Would be constructed. Compared to the Proposed Project, there would be slightly <br />less construction traffic generated within the project area. Similar to the Proposed <br />Project, the implementation of Alternative 3 would not result significant long term <br />operation or short term construction traffic impacts to project area intersections or <br />roadway segments. <br />Alternative 4: Pipeline Design Alternative <br />Under Alterative 4, the mix of construction equipment and construction activities <br />would essentially be the same as the Proposed Project. Similar to the Proposed <br />Project, the implementation of Alternative 4 would not result significant long term <br />operation or short term construction traffic impacts to project area intersections or <br />roadway segments. <br />Mitigation Measures <br />No mitigation measures are required. <br />Level of Impact <br />Alternative 1: No adverse impact <br />Alternative 2: Less than significant adverse impact <br />Alternative 3: Less than significant adverse impact <br />Alternative 4: Less than significant adverse impact <br />IMPACT T-Z Would the project be in conflict with an applicable congestion <br />management program, including but not limited to level of service <br />standards, and travel demand measures, or other standards established by <br />the County's congestion management agency for designated roads or <br />highways? <br />Mid Basin Centennial Park 260.vMProject Final EIR 5-225 <br />
