With the implementation of <br />Mitigation Measure T-1 potential adverse emergency impacts would be reduced <br />to less than significant. <br />Mitigation Measures <br />Mitigation Measure T-1 is required, <br />Level of Impact <br />Alternative 1: No adverse impact <br />Alternatilve 2: Less than significant impact with Mitigation Measure T-1 <br />Alternative 3: Less than significant impact with Mitigation Measure T-1. <br />Alternative 4: Less than significant impact with Mitigation Measure T -1, <br />IMPACT T-4: Would the project be in conflict with adopted policies, plans <br />or programs regarding public transit, bicycle or pedestrian facilities or <br />otherwise decrease the performance or safety of such facilities? <br />Alternative 1: No Federal Action/No Project <br />Under Alternative 1, the project would not be implemented. There would not be <br />any construction activities that would require temporary closures of pedestrian <br />sidewalks and bike ways along Edinger Avenue. <br />Alternative 2: Proposed Project <br />Presently, along the south side and north side of Edinger Avenue is a Class 11 on <br />street bike lane and a pedestrian sidewalk. The implementation of the Proposed <br />Project would require the temporary closure of the bike lane and sidewalk along <br />Edinger Avenue, approximately west of the Edinger Avenue Bridge to the <br />Edinger Avenue/Mohawk Drive entrance into Centennial Park. To ensure safe <br />pedestrian safety, a traffic management program would be implemented that <br />would include a combination of signage and traffic control devices to warn <br />pedestrians of the temporary closures and to direct bicyclist and pedestrians to <br />the bicycle and pedestrian facilities located on the north side of Edinger Avenue. <br />With the implementation of Mitigation Measure T-1 potential pedestrian conflicts <br />would be reduced to a less than significant level. <br />Heritage Museum <br />The construction and operation of the monitoring well would not require the <br />closure or relocation of existing pedestrian, bicycle or transit facility, <br />o ' 4 <br />) Mid Basin Centennial Park �j en Yroject Final EIR 5-241 <br />4 e - <br />
