This event will have some live entertainment but the main focus will be on <br />the artistic activities. Also, I would like to have someone that specializes in food like a <br />chef to promote the culinary arts. This year will mark our second International Artist <br />Day. To be able to have all these workshops and participation from different artistic <br />outlets we need to be able to pay for their material. Also, we need to create these <br />spaces that allow for all of these demonstrations to take place in our community. <br />Workshops: Sketchbook Making, Poetry, Jewelry for kids, Clay Pottery, Drawing, Art as <br />Business, Live art, and product demonstrations from Art supply stores. <br />With the support of the Investing in the Artist Grant Opportunity, these two events can <br />be grand in our city's activities, as well as serving the community in many practical <br />ways, individually and socially. <br />Supplemental Question 1:: <br />Application for Calle 4 Plaza reservation, Permit forms from City Hall, provide certificate <br />of liability insurance to Parks & Recreation to finish the reservation process <br />Supplemental Question 2:: <br />existing <br />Supplemental Question 3:: <br />2 Free Community Art & Culture Events in Santa Ana. <br />"International Artist Day and International Woman's Day festivals in Santa Ana are two <br />popular arts and culture events ready to blossom. Bringing together, students, teachers, <br />families, we provide a positive atmosphere. These festivals are rooted in Social Practice <br />Art. They offer educational workshops, inspiring performance -live art, dance, music, <br />poetry, community engagement and local artisan vendors.
